Independiente played good football against Tigre and scored four goals to end with a final score of 4-1, with two of them scored by Daniel Montenegro one by Leonel Rios and another one by Dario Gandin in the team’s best production since Américo Rubén Gallego arrived.
Red came out with all they had to overwhelm their rival and after only three minutes of the game they had worried Daniel Islas: Leonel Rios put pressure on Tigre´s defending and recovered the ball, passing it to Lucas Pusineri who got a strong shot from long-range and he forced Islas to make a great save.
Before the tenth minute, Daniel Montenegro sent a precise pass to Leonel Núñez head, who was in a center forward position and headed the ball, but unfortunately it crashed against the goal left post guarded by Islas, who had remained motionless staring at the good attacker move.
